Home to the “biggest rocking horse in the world”, wineries, local produce and amazing views; but what else does Gumeracha and surrounds have to offer for a short trip away?
Traditionally known as “Umeracha” by the Peramangk peoples, which can be translated to “fine waterhole”; Gumeracha was one of the earliest European settlements in Adelaide, in 1838.
Changing with the seasons, the Adelaide Hills are a dynamic, picturesque, holistic “getaway” for Adelaideans. Gumeracha is only 37km from Adelaide CBD. Spoilt with beautiful scenery, rich history, award winning food and beverage options and, of course, family fun.
Our Bar Supervisor Alex has put together your ideal family weekend away, read on to find out more.
