We were commissioned to craft this Gin for the Bushing King surprise after-party. For the uninitiated - the Bushing King is the winner of the Best McLaren Vale Wine resulting from their annual wine show. It is our first official Limited Editionn Gin release.

Surrounded by the Onkaparinga Hills, McLaren Vale is well-known for it's exposure to a maritime climate and some great stretches of beach. The brief for this Gin was to lend to it a 'taste of place' - a 'terroir' effect that winemakers are so genuinely passionate about. In this instance, we utilised foraged native Australian Salt Bush (from Aldinga beach), Pink Peppercorn and Amarillo Hops - whilst diluting the Gin to bottling strength with a portion of Saké - lending a more bright, saline edge. Certainly the most esoteric Gin we've crafted to date! Strength: 40% abv Volume: 500ml
